Wow, What a Month!
Wow, What a Month!
GM everybody!
What an incredible month it has been. Since we rolled out the public Beta just over four weeks ago, we have been absolutely delighted by the influx of new users, the content shared on the timeline, and the progress that has been made under the hood to prepare us for our next phase.
We began our journey by addressing the simplest problem we could find in the space today: The inability to truly appreciate the digital art that we own in a tangible way. A meaningful way.
The early White Walls Beta introduced our first solution to this problem, and finally gave collectors a new endpoint to bring digital art to their physical spaces.
Here are a few incredible pieces of content shared from the last few days:
This is, of course, only the beginning for White Walls.
Over the past weeks we have teased a new feature that invites all White Walls users to experience and appreciate art that they don’t own… And this is where the plot thickens and the future becomes truly exciting
We began by adding a small banner in the wallet dropdown announcing the ability to view and explore Dave Krugman’s latest collection, DRIVE // LAP 2.
333 cars, straight off the lot and into your living room.
We themed out our whole X account, and celebrated the first step towards our new goal of making White Walls a place to not only appreciate digital art, but to explore it.
Since then, we have rolled out the Midamerican Fever Dream collection by Summer Wagner, while simultaneously powering a portion of her IRL exhibition with White Walls, and recently announced a partnership with verse to bring Yoshi Sodeoka’s “The Swarm r = θ” to big screens everywhere.
Right now we’re limiting this new feature to a single partner at a time, and having a lot of fun with it. But in the background, lots is happening to prepare for our next big launch.
We’re having incredible conversations with artists, collectors, curators, and platforms to bring a wide range of diverse and exciting content to White Walls users across the globe.
We won’t divulge too many details quite yet, but in the coming weeks the whole game changes.
We’ve been carefully researching and preparing to roll out White Walls to more native TV app stores and lower cost hardware devices. We’re excited to announce that we have now begun actively developing for new environments, and that initiative is underway!
We can not wait to bring White Walls to every home, and let the whole world appreciate digital art in a new and exciting way.
Thanks for reading and we’ll see you soon!
